The 2023 growing season is well underway at Irish Mountain Orchard! We are having some beautiful days for fruit growing, and the apples look great so far. It's always a gamble on the weather, but we're hoping for a hail-free season...cross your fingers for us!
Just a few pictures of the small fruit. I can't wait until they're ready to harvest...I'm really hungry for good apples...I know we're spoiled by having such awesome fruit at harvest! The first photo is a closeup of Haralsons, the second is Honey Crisp, and the third is pears. They have a ways to go, for sure!
We look forward to seeing you all at the orchard...we're planning to open Saturday, August 26, although that's obviously dependent on the fruit! We'll keep you posted.
