We have an AMAZING pear crop this year!  They are beautiful, so sweet, and plentiful!  My dad planted 120 pear trees a few years ago that are now bearing fruit, and they are truly delicious.  We have had so many people come from quite a distance for them after my daughter-in-law posted about them on Facebook, and a lot of people went home with more than one bag.  We will have Nova pears for a few more days...probably through this coming weekend.  Parker pears aren't quite as ripe yet and should be available for a couple of weeks, at least.  Both are wonderful.  Wed encourage you to stop in at the orchard and ask for a sample.
